Seminar & Discussion Society, Campus Law Centre
organizes a discussion to give its students a primer on being independent and
productive at peripheral, and yet inescapable and time-consuming task of
presenting one’s legal research work in adherence to a chosen or specified
standard, format and style.
This discussion is expected to take the following form.

Illustrations and demos, by using
present-day productivity software suites, of accomplishing tasks such as
o
Foot-note/end-note management,
o
Generation of Index of Citations,
o
Generate of the Table of Contents &
Abbreviations,
o
Preliminary data analysis,
o
General page set-up, formatting and
o
Other common mistakes and pain-points.

A brief introduction and discussion on
“The Bluebook” system of citation.

An open-house discussion on other
pain-points faced and/or overcome by members of the audience.
